ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT OUR PRESENCE AT IFAT 2016
May 30 to June 3 in Munich

Current waste generation level turns the following into an urgent matter:

THE WORLD’S BIG POLLUTION PROBLEM

THE OBSOLESCENCE AND EFFICIENCY PROBLEM OF THE WASTE MANAGEMENT COMPANIES

THE ADMINISTRATION’S AND INSTITUTION’S SPACE AND MANAGEMENT PROBLEM

At IFAT 2016 we draw the attention to three product lines, with which we want to give an answer to the most urgent, current and profitable issues, with a cross curricular aim that focuses on a wide range of customers, no matter which nature, origin or requirements they have.

Bearing in mind the process, input and technology, we have divided that product range into 3 lines: Treatment Plants, SRF and Masias Covertech. Here you can find a short summary of the solutions we offer in each of them.

TREATMENT PLANTS

Product_01_A

OPTIMISING PRODUCTION

As time goes by, many waste treatment facilities still comply with the requirements they had been designed for, but they may be obsolete in terms of technology and performance. The refurbishing of existing facilities is one of our main fields, for which we have a specific technical department that can offer a wide range of services.

SRF

Product_02_A

GREAT POTENTIAL

Waste management is more and more frequently linked to the production of alternative fuel: waste treatment facilities for energy recovery, cement manufacturing facilities, thermal stations, etc. Waste treatment by means of biodrums, sorting equipment (ballistic separators, magnetic separators, etc.), dryers, etc. allow us to design the best solution to produce high quality SRF (green SRF or plastics SRF depending on its composition), which may be used as a fuel with greater calorific value and lower humidity.

MASIAS COVERTECH

Product_03_A_02

LOWER HUMIDITY

Some low extra investment allows municipal solid waste (MSW) to be transformed into a dry matter with high calorific value, which may be used as a solid recovered fuel in those industries that are highly dependent on energy, such as the cement or the electrical industry. We will show you how Covertech can improve the calorific power generation levels of MSW by 70% through Covertech Biodry.

Product_01_B

GREAT CAPACITY

The aim of a municipal waste treatment facility is to recover a great quantity of recyclable materials, to treat the organic fraction and to divert rejects from landfill. Masias Recycling offers a variety of solutions to treat the municipal solid waste: mechanical pretreatment, biological pretreatment of the organic fraction (aerobic or anaerobic) and compost refinement lines. More than 5 million tons of treated waste a year is our best guarantee.

Product_02_B_02

HIGH AUTOMATION

Both municipal solid and industrial waste treatment facilities may include some treatment modules for the production of alternative fuel. The aim is to maximise the recovery of waste, diverting as much as possible the quantity that is sent to landfill and obtaining the fuel for the different thermal processes. With a great automation level, RDF facilities have the best available technologies to get solid recovered fuel or refuse derived fuel.

REDUCED CAPEX

Biological treatment allows us to get the most out of the organic fraction so as to reduce the amount of waste and obtain biostabilised material, which is a mandatory compliance in most European countries. Masias Covertech Composting is based on forced air circulation composting and requires low investment.

Each of these solutions leads to a great spectrum of processes, equipment and services, which we have included in our three units so as to offer integral customised services. You can find more details by having a look in each of them.
